Known as “puntilla” in Andalusia, a few years ago the Astiazaran family decided to add this exquisite dish to their menu. This is because of andalusian roots of the mother of the current Astiazaran brothers made them consider bringing a little bit of Andalusian taste and establish it in the letter of the Iruin cider housein the form of “txopitos”. And his choice is a sure hit. The shrimp pancakes, also present in the menu, are a further nod to this Andalusian heritage.

Another of the most famous dishes of the menu of Iruin are the anchovies with peppers. Prepared with a lot of dedication, they are an irresistible temptation for the palate thanks to the combination of the fried sweet pepper with the salting of the exclusive Cantabrian anchovy.
